Caboodle permite a los usuarios almacenar y organizar diversos bits de información. Todos se encuentran con información a la que quieren referirse más tarde. Tal vez regalos que has recibido o enviado, números de serie de productos, recetas, direcciones a la casa de alguien, una foto de tu mascota, o cualquier otra cosa. Caboodle es una herramienta para ayudar a almacenar y organizar tales bits variados de información.
Puedes organizar los elementos en una jerarquía similar a un esquema, e incluir tanto campos estructurados como texto y fotos en cada entrada, junto con enlaces web, listas, tablas, PDFs y cualquier otro tipo de archivo como adjuntos. Cuando creas una nueva entrada dentro de una existente, los campos personalizados se heredan, permitiendo crear contenido rápidamente de manera organizada. Pero también puedes agregar o eliminar campos personalizados de forma independiente para cada entrada.
Las entradas pueden ser encriptadas para ocultar tu información más sensible. También pueden ser buscadas, y se admite el menú de Servicios para agregar o exportar rápidamente una entrada. Caboodle también admite la importación y exportación en varios formatos.

I upgraded to version 2.0.4 after Before Dawn acquired the app from Dejal and I've been waiting for a while to work with it, because I was hoping the newly added search function might be fixed. I haven't been able to get any matches by using the built-in search function. I had collected a couple of hundred entries in a single document using the old Dejal version and was hoping to be able search the different entries. I haven't been able to get search to work in a newly created document, either. I contacted Before Dawn support, but didn't get a reply. I saw another report of search difficulty without any solution, but I don't seem to be able to access the user submissions for support anymore to view follow-up. The Troubleshooting link in the online Caboodle User Guide yields a 404 (not found) error.

THIS PROGRAM IS TERRIBLE ABSOSOLUTELY TERRIBLE...TRY TO REACH THIS COMPANY AND GET A RESPONSE....GOODLUCK....BAD BUSINESS. CAN't DOWNLOAD THE LICENSE....THE COMPANY THAN SOLD IT TO ME CAN'T HELP. E ITHER....TRY SOMETHNG ELSE...STAY AWAY FROM CABOODLE

I have been using Caboodle for about three years and love it. It just works flawlessly and is extremely easy to learn and use. I've had a couple of technical problems (mostly when having to reinstall the program after hard drive crash) and always got a response to my tech support inquiries within a couple of hours.
I recommend this app without hesitation.

A promo on an application that has not been updated for two years looks a bit weird to me. Spring cleaning?
It used to be (and still is in a way) a nice app but it is so far behind its competitors that it seems unfair to make the old man fight on his last days.
